Liza’s practice encompasses all aspects of family law including property division, support, parenting time and decision making disputes.
Liza is a trusted and dedicated advocate who assists clients in navigating through complex and difficult transitory periods in their lives. She does so in a manner that is practical, effective, and cost-efficient.
Liza graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2018. Since her call to the bar, she has been practicing exclusively in the area of Family Law. Prior to joining Burrison Hudani Doris LLP, Liza worked at a prominent family law boutique firm in Toronto.
During law school, Liza volunteered at Windsor Community Legal Aid, and worked for the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario and the University of Windsor as a Research Assistant in the area of Aboriginal Law.
Prior to law school, Liza obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology with High Distinction at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.
Outside of her practice, Liza volunteers for Pro Bono Canada and in her personal time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants in Toronto, traveling, and learning new languages. She is fluent in Dutch and Farsi.
