A partner at Burrison Hudani Doris LLP, Andrea has extensive experience both litigating in court and guiding clients through out-of-court processes including mediation, arbitration, and collaborative law. Andrea provides practical, tailored advice to each client by keeping abreast of the latest legal developments while delivering service that is customized for each situation. In addition to having a strong track record in court, Andrea strives to achieve satisfying and sustainable settlements where possible, understanding the major impacts that family breakdowns can have on relationships and children. In addition to being a proud member of the York Region Law Association, Andrea sits on the Board of Collaborative Divorce Toronto and represents children as a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer.
After her call to the bar in 2012, Andrea worked at a leading corporate finance law firm before deciding to devote her practice to family law. Prior to joining Burrison Hudani Doris LLP, she was a partner at Jain Family Law and Mediation where she worked closely alongside the now Honourable Justice Seema Jain for over ten years, until her Honour’s appointment to the Bench in January 2025. Andrea holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, where she received the Blakes Scholar Award, volunteered for Downtown Legal Services, and edited the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review. Andrea regularly presents for legal organizations, including the Ontario Bar Association and Family Lawyers’ Association, and has taught various family law topics to other professionals.
When not tackling complex financial and parenting issues, Andrea enjoys travelling and exploring museums and galleries with her family.
