Jessica’s practice comprises of all areas of family law, with a particular focus on trial and appellate work, mobility/relocation applications, child abduction/wrongful removal and retention proceedings, and high conflict parenting disputes. Jessica has argued before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Justice. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in her pro bono work with Defence for Children International.

Jessica joined Burrison Hudani Doris LLP in September 2019. Before joining BHD, Jessica practiced for three years at a leading family law firm in downtown Toronto, and articled at the Department of Justice where she clerked with the Family Court at the Ontario Court of Justice.

Jessica has a Master of Laws from Columbia University, where she graduated with honours as a Stone Scholar with a specialization in international and comparative law. She also has dual Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated summa cum laude at the top of her class, and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.

Jessica was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014.
