Family Law Clerk Position at Burrison Hudani Doris LLP
Burrison Hudani Doris LLP is hiring a Family Law Clerk. Our firm is dedicated exclusively to the practice of family law and the firm’s backbone is our lawyers and staff. We are proud of their diverse backgrounds and experience and believe that our strength lies in that diversity and breadth of experience. The firm is growing and requires a detail-oriented and highly organized Law Clerk to join the team.
The successful candidate will require:
• a minimum of 5 years experience working as a Family Law Clerk in Ontario
• competence in preparing legal documents including Financial Statements, Net Family Property Statements, Trial Records/Exhibit Briefs, Applications/Pleadings, Affidavits, Conference Briefs, Mediation Briefs, and Separation Agreements
• thorough understanding of the Family Law Rules, Practice Directions and family court processes
• the ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines while supporting multiple lawyers’ matters
• strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• competence using DivorceMate to prepare support calculations and court documents
Benefits include a comprehensive health and dental benefits package and a hybrid work schedule. Our offices are newly renovated and located in downtown Toronto. Salary is commensurate with experience.
